To all Lyonnais, we invite you to visit TOMĒ , the restaurant to try at the start of the slopes of the Croix-Rousse in the 1st arrondissement of Lyon. Tomé is one of the partner restaurants that offer Oé wines to accompany their tasty dishes. Can you tell us about Tomé?

TOMĒ is the fusion of two ideas: an Asian-inspired restaurant and a coffee shop . We opened in August 2018. It was after living for many years abroad (Canada, Australia and Japan) and a common desire to work together that the idea of ​​TOMĒ was born . We wanted to create a place in our image where we could discover and share our love of Asian cuisine and coffee.”

What are your commitments for the planet? 

“We attach importance to cooking seasonal and local products and work with partners who share the same values. All our drinks and alcohols are organic as well as our teas. Our coffee comes from small producers. All of our takeaway packaging is biodegradable and we have set up our own deposit system .”

What is your favorite recipe that will be on the menu when it reopens?

“We can't wait to be able to offer our brunch again every weekend with our customers' favorite: the croque nippon . The reopening coincides with the return of sunny days, we long to see you savor our new creations full of freshness and color!”

Which Oé wine(s) did you fall in love with?

“We had a crush on the white Côtes du Rhône as well as the red Vaucluse , perfect for the summer and the reopening of our terrace!”

Do you have an anecdote to tell us?

“When we first started, we prepared for the opening of the restaurant so that everything was perfect, we turned on the ice maker and we realized that we hadn't planned for the arrival of water for the feed."

Are you ready for the opening?

“After 6 months of welcoming our customers for take-out, we feel the pressure mounting for the reopening. We will be ready as on our first day: the pressure of the beginnings!”
