Château Gigognan

Located between Orange and Avignon, Château Gigognan is a few minutes from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The 105 hectare vineyard covers 3 appellations. Since 2017, the Château has belonged to Jean-François Hénin, who already owns wines in Burgundy and Beaujolais. Under his impetus, major works have taken place, both on the plant tool (uprooting and replanting of vines, takeover of the vineyard) and material (construction of a new cellar). At the same time, the Château has continued its environmental approach: the entire vineyard is certified AB, creation of retention basins, installation of hives, to minimize the impact of the estate on its environment.
